History
1930 October 26  
On Reformation Sunday, October 26, 1930, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church held its first worship service in the Women's Club House on South Washington Avenue in Lansing, Michigan.
1938 August 14  
The cornerstone of the current building was laid.
1938 December 18  
The first worship service in the new building would be held on December 18 of the same year.
1960  
Through the efforts of Pastor World and the Dorcas Guild, the first stained glass window was installed.
1970  
CELC celebrated its 40th anniversary.
1979  
After much sacrifice by the congregation, the final stained glass window was installed under Pastor Mayer.
1993  
Under the leadership of Pastor Thiele the congregation raised money for and called a youth pastor, Richard Mittwede.
circa 2000  
CLC begins special ministry to refugees in the Lansing area. www.refugeedevelopmentcenter.com
2007  
Pastor Zerit Yohannes called to serve CLC as senior pastor.
2009-2010  
Christ Lutheran Evangelical Lutheran Church begins to celebrate it's 80th Anniversary in Christ's service.
